ISVT Statements on the Attacks at Boston
The Islamic
Society of Vermont (ISVT) and the Vermont Muslim community is deeply saddened
by the tragic occurrence at the Boston Marathon. We are concerned for the loss
of life and injuries to the victims. Our prayers and thoughts go out to the
victims and their families, to the marathon organizers, runners and fans, and
to our Boston community at large.
ISVT joins Americans in prayer for the victims and their families during this horrific incident. ISVT also appeals all Americans to help the Law Enforcement to bring the perpetrators of this crime to speedy justice.
All Americans including American Muslims condemn this heinous attack on civilians and pray for the quick recovery of the injured.
Allah (SWT) says: "Whoever kills a person (unjustly) it is as though he kills the whole man kind. And who whoever saves a person it is as though he saves the whole man kind." (5:32)
